Born and raised in Hammond, Louisiana, Becky Jackson’s connection to this community runs deep. She is a proud graduate of Hammond High School and continued her education at Southern University and A&M College, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work.

For more than 20 years, Becky has been a pillar in the Hammond community. As a longtime child care center owner, she has had the privilege of serving generations of local families—caring for their children, supporting parents, building lasting relationships, and creating a place families could trust.

Becky’s service has always extended beyond the walls of her business. Her background in social work, years of working directly with families, and lifelong connection to Hammond have given her a firsthand understanding of the people who make this community what it is. She understands the importance of listening, showing up, treating people with dignity, and being someone others can depend on.

For Becky, running for Marshal is not about seeking a title. It is an opportunity to continue a lifetime of service to the community that raised her.

She is ready to bring her experience, education, compassion, and commitment to the Marshal’s Office—leading with integrity, remaining loyal to the people she serves, and putting service at the center of every decision.
